Market Engagement Event for 0-19 Preventon and Early Intervention

Worcestershire County Council is looking to commission a prevention and early intervention service for children, young people aged 0-19 and their families.

The Service will work in close partnership with commissioners and providers of health, social care, education and voluntary sector services to improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.

This new service will commence on 1st April 2019. Worcestershire County Council would like to invite you to attend a Market Engagement/Networking event to hear your views on supporting our requirements. This will help us shape the service model moving forward.

The County Council intends to hold an open information and feedback session for all interested organisations to be held as follows:

Big Lottery Funding Worshop

The Big Lottery Fund allows people to improve their lives and communities, through small, local projects. It is responsible for giving out 40% of the money raised by National Lottery players for good causes. Last year it awarded £583 million and supported around 12,000 projects across the UK for health, education, environment and charitable purposes. Tamsin Davey works as the Regional Funding Officer for Worcestershire and is working in partnership with Young Solutions to deliver some workshops for local organisations. During the workshop Tamsin will explain recent changes at the Big Lottery Fund, what funding options are now available, how to apply and what types of projects can be funded. This includes Awards for All and Reaching Communities, which is due to be re-launched in April 2018.
