Bromsgrove and Redditch Network

BARN is a network of voluntary and community organisations and statutory agencies that provide a service to individuals or organisations in the local authority districts of Bromsgrove and Redditch.

BARN was formed in 1997 and is accredited as a volunteer centre by Volunteering England.

To give the voluntary sector a collective voice, share ideas and information, identify training opportunities and discuss funding issues.

Our key services include:

  • facilitating networking between voluntary, community & statutory agencies in order to share information, good practice, provide mutual support and avoid duplication of services;
  • supporting voluntary and community organisations through the provision of information and advice, training and development support;
  • facilitating representation and consultation between all sectors;
  • promoting and support volunteering;
  • facilitating a bi-monthly network meeting, alternately in Bromsgrove & Redditch, which are open to any interested organisation.
We also provide support to identify sources of funding and complete grant application forms. We may also provide references to accompany funding applications.
