Meeting standards through workforce development

Meeting standards through workforce development

Skills for Care are the employer-led workforce development body for adult social care in England. They work with employers and other partners to create a fit for purpose qualifications framework and practical resources to develop the skills and knowledge of the workforce. Their work helps the sector recruit and retain the right people who have the rights skills at the right time to deliver high quality services to people who need care and support in our communities.

In partnership with Hoople and ACT, Skills for Care would like to invite you to attend a workshop on Wednesday 9th April 2014 at The Worcester White House Hotel.

The purpose of the workshop will be to:

  • Help you to identify ways in which you can improve the quality of care and welfare of people who use your care and support services through workforce development.
  • Introduce practical resources, support and funding opportunities available from Skills for Care and local partners.
  • Provide you with the opportunity to continue your engagement with Skills for Care and local partners.
There are a limited number of fully funded places available to attend the workshop and places are offered on a first come, first served basis. To secure your place at the workshop please either send an email or give them a call on 01332 345 270.
