New Training Programme for South Worcestershire, funded by Awards for All

Worcester Volunteer Centre and CVS has won Awards for All funding to provide 24 training sessions over the coming year with partners in the South Worcestershire Information and Support Hub. Courses will take place in Worcester, Malvern, Evesham, Droitwich, Pershore and Tenbury Wells.

18 of the courses are FREE to volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations in South Worcestershire. A further 6 are subsidised and cost either £15 or £25 per person.

The first course, Volunteering Good Practice and Standards, takes place on 18 June 2014 from 10am-1pm in Lowesmoor, Worcester.

If you live in an area with poor transport links and don’t have your own transport, we hope to match you up with someone else travelling from your area, or to collect you using our network of Community Transport services.

Download the booking form from the South Worcestershire Information and Support Hub website at www.swishltd.wordpress.com/training or book online for the free events via our links to the Eventbrite booking system. If you want to pay online for those courses which incur fees, you can do so with our Paypal or BT donation buttons.

For more information and enquiries, email Lindsay@wvc.org.uk or lindsay@swish-support.org.uk or telephone 01905 24741.

We look forward to seeing you at a course over the coming months.
