Updates to role of Strategic Bodies

Worcestershire Health and Well Being Board

In line with changes nationally the Health and Well-Being Board is changing its function and will be expected to focus increasingly on health and adult social care issues, in particular the sign off of the Better Care Fund.

The updated terms of reference can be viewed here.

Worcestershire Health Improvement Group

A new Health Improvement Group is being established under the Board to lead and co-ordinate action to tackle the wider determinants of health and well-being.

The terms of reference for this new group can be viewed here.

Directorate of Adult Services and Health - VCS Reference Group

This group will be expanding its membership beyond Adult Services and we will look to recuit members with experience of children and young people.

The updated terms of reference can be viewed here.

Worcestershire  Safeguarding Adults Board

In line with changes being introduced in the Care Bill going through parliament the Safeguarding Adults Board will be becoming more strategic in future and has accordingly changed its terms of reference too.

The updated terms of reference can be viewed here.
