Worcester Wheels

Worcester Wheels has been serving the elderly and other vulnerable people in and around Worcester for a number of years as part of the Worcester Volunteer Centre.

The reduction in grant funding and our own reducing funds meant that the Board had to make some difficult decisions in 2016. The outcome was a restructuring with a focus on our Worcester Wheels service. This has brought an exciting and challenging period of change for us all, volunteers, staff and trustees, as we worked towards achieving a secure future for our charity. We now have a strong and enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers dedicated to taking the charity forward. As our community transport operation consolidates and expands the board is looking to identity and introduce other services to assist our users as resources become available.

We are always looking for volunteer drivers, PA’s and telephonists.
