Making It Happen - Worcestershire County Council's Launch of their Community Solution Fund – 3 June 2019

03/06/2019 12:00:00 - 03/06/2019 19:00:00
WCC Council Chamber

Lucy Hodgson, Worcestershire County Council's Cabinet Member with responsibility for Communities, is launching the Council's "Community Solution" fund on Monday 3 June 2019. She has an open invitation to all interested community and voluntary sector organisations to come and hear more about the fund and how you can apply.

The event will be held at the Council Chamber, County Hall, Worcester between 5pm and 7pm on 3 June.

In further recognition of National Volunteers Week, she is also hosting a session for all Council Staff between 12pm and 2pm. The aim of the lunchtime event is to promote the excellent work of staff who already volunteer, and to promote opportunities within volunteering and community organisations across the county – there will be a market place where the voluntary and community sector can promote their organisations, the opportunities and encourage our staff to get involved.

Lucy would welcome your attendance at the evening event and also offers you the opportunity to have a market stall at our lunchtime staff event.

Please RSVP by email to: volunteerweek@worcestershire.gov.uk - in your response please indicate:

  1. If you can attend the evening session and how many places you would like to help with ordering refreshments
  2. At which event/s you would like to have a promotional stand
Stands can be left in place until the event in the afternoon.
